About the Trainer

Nega Teshome, CPA, founder and CEO of the Bridge CPAs, brings over two decades of comprehensive, top-notch business expertise to the field of finance, accounting and tax. A graduate of the George Washington University and a Certified Public Accountant, Nega’s experience spans several industries, including public and corporate accounting, hospitality, media and government. He commenced his professional career at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, a major bank in the East Africa. After moving to the US in the early 2000s, he worked in different industries at a senior level before starting his firm (The Bridge CPAs, LLC). Throughout his career, he learned the intricacies of managing the complex needs of large companies, but through his work with small and medium-sized businesses, he cultivated an affinity for the people behind them. The seed of vision was planted for a company where he could go beyond the numbers and serve clients more intimately. He built his own firm to help clients understand the language of audit, tax and build legacy in their businesses and support their households. He is also an adjunct assistant professor at University of Maryland Global Campus. He teaches investment, individual and business tax and finance.
